Installation, Update & Configuration / komisches Zeichen hinter IPTC Tags

Hiho,

ich benutze die checkimages.php hier aus dem Forum. Das klappt auch alles soweit ganz gut,
außer das ich hinter den IPTC Tag immer ein komisches Zeichen habe "maren�"

Könnt ihr mir nen Tip geben wie ich das weg bekommen kann ?
