Discussion & Troubleshooting / User URL linking, question or two..
« on: March 18, 2003, 07:59:36 AM »
Hey, When a user links to a picture on their own server etc. if they don't specify a link or upload a thumbnail, one cannot be created I assume beacuse theres no picture to resize since its not saved on the server. I wondered if there was a way to turn this feature off so people can only upload instead? I don't want a bunch of blank "JPEG IMAGE" thumbnails all over the gallery its a turnoff to people I would think.. I assume I can prob just edit the template file for uploading, not exactly sure what to remove or what file though.. Thanks!

Feedback & Suggestions / User Albums request..
« on: March 18, 2003, 07:49:01 AM »
Hey, I've been using your script for a while now, and recently I've got some users who began adding pics, and orginally I was looking for a script where users will have their own album instead of using categories.. I've searched around the boards and only found a couple topics mentioning this which almost no replies.. I just wondered if this was a possiblity or if its in the plans at all? I have an automotive related site so this would be great for what I need.. I like the script alot so I want to continue using it..  :) Thanks.

The error I'm getting when I try to validate an image is this:

Warning: Unable to create './../data/media/1/5.jpg': Permission denied in /home/slayer6669/www/4images/admin/admin_functions.php on line 111
Error adding image: The Z (5.jpg)

Another error I'm getting when I tried to resize an image via netpbm is:
Convert image file: RearStraight.jpg (640x480) ....
Warning: rename() failed (Permission denied) in /home/slayer6669/www/4images/includes/image_utils.php on line 166

Looks like a bunch of permissions problems .. I did chmod all the required directories and files listed in the installation doc to 777.. Any help is appreciated!
