Installation, Update & Configuration / [problem] Making a Category

Whenever I try to make a category...I get this message:

could somebody help?

i realized that i forgot to copy the "config.php" from my 1.7.3 to my update, but after it wasnt working, i tried to use the config.php from my 1.7.2 backup and it STILL wasnt working. please help?

I try to upload an Image to a category...and I get this message:

No database entry!

i was seeing what was wrong with the line but couldnt find what was wrong...could someone help, please?
