Ok, I found something that zips right through the images without a problem. I've been using the Check Images made by V@to and while it's very good, it lagged my server for some reason and took forever to load up the images. There is one called "Check and Go" by deejay_ located below:

It's just a user preference really, but I've found this one to be faster and displays the new images by text only, which is what I was looking for since the other one took forever to process the image preview.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Top 5 stats in ACM will not go past 32767 views.

For some reason my stats for catagories and image views stop at 32767. Is there a way that I can get it to go higher than that? Right now I have all my top 5's sitting at 32767 views and it's annoying me. Any ideas on a remedy would be greatly appreciated.

I usually update my gallery every week with about 500-600 pictures and it's starting to become time consuming having to use the "check files" option. Sometimes it even times out when I put the images to around 100 and I have to start all over again. I was wondering if there was something I could use that would just add them on the fly and thumbnail them without timing out and also going so slow.

Yeah, I can access it with the full address like you did an example of in your post. I've tried moving it to a already existing dir with files in it and it still won't find the images.

Any ideas?

I recently got rid of a few catagories and made some new ones and tried to upload some pics.

I'm running 1.7 and I usually make a catagory, then goto the catagory folder # like 433 and upload the pics in there. Then I goto check new images and it finds them, thumbnails them, and I'm all set.

But for some reason it won't even detect the new images that I have uploaded. I've tried file permissions and it still doesn't work.

If I goto add new images and upload them one by one it works, but not by check new images. I've never had a problem with it before so I don't understand what could be wrong.

Any ideas?

Is there a mod that could possibly help fend off a DoS attack? My site gets attacked over and over by people using various ip's. It creates so many mysql connections that it bogs the server down. I was wondering if there was a way to keep an ip from having so many simultanious connections? Put a limit of like two or three on it and then just keep them from having another session with that ip until there is a space open.

Someone said that 1.7.1 doesn't use mysql for sessions anymore. I've tried updating to 1.7.1 but it never works correctly for me. I was wondering if there was a mod that I could put in place that would keep my server from being bogged with so many mysql connections with the mod that is in place for 1.7.1
