thanks.. the batch_import was by JAn

thanks

Did a search , found something, that took all the images from a zip file and used them to batch with.. this is not what I ment:- What I needed is:-

example

a gif called baby.gif, in a folder on my server called people, when you view it you have the option of downloading a zip file called baby.zip ( in same folder) becase when I manaully upload each image I upload a zip file of the same name ( so the user can dl, a ziped file whcih has a lot more images in).
You see the in the zip file I will have the single framed images of the gif, see my web page, www.mobelee.co.uk and check out the animations section. I create gifs for mobile phones, but the phones can only take single images, so I break them down for the user, who uploads the 7 or 8 single images to there phone thus creating the effect of an animation.  :D

So the gif they see on my pages is what the single BMP/JPG images (whcih are in the zip file) will look like on there phone.

Ok.. Batch IMport allows the import of the images etc, but is there anyway I can configure it so that the imported image will automatically tag the associated named zip file,

so.. man.gif will be linked to man.zip
woman.gif will be linked to woman.zip

Importing the images is the easy bit , linking accross to there associated Zip files is the problem, I can link to a zip file of the GIF in question, this is not what I need, as the zip file I want them to get will hold something differnt to the gif.

hope you can now understand what I mean

Ok.. I have mastered the Batch import . Great tool. I would like to know the following.

1. all my images are linked to a specific zip file of the same name, example. baby.gif is linked to baby.zip (in same folder)
is there anyway using batch import to make the programm batch import the gif with the link to the zip file? this would be great if i could get it working.

2. I have some images online, is there a way of batch-linking -importing them BUT leaving them in the original directory ( as I have that directory passworded, I dont want none members accessing them)

Cool programme thanks

Templates & Styles (Requests & Discussions) / Template Help.

I have a site.
http://www.mobelee.co.uk/animations_enter.htm
as you can see I have an ok layout, what I want to do is add this style to the template.

I tried coping and paisting all the stuff, last night, into the main body of the site, and it looked ok, but bland, so I got a mate to doctor it and he created me a nice looking style, see this address:
http://www.mobelee.co.uk/mobelee/anim.htm

(ps links dont work on this one.)  he basically went to the temp site I am working on, and downloaded the page, and used that to make the template. This method created what I wanted, but as you know they actual content and links will not work. (I removed the random links as I could not get the random links to show only images from non member area)
http://www.mobelee.co.uk/mobelee/anim.htm
So.. the question is, Looking at the idea above, what is the easiest way to create this style as a template. thanks, a mate of mine created this look. The above does not work correctly as he has used the htm coding etc.

I have two areas on my side, a members and a normal., But with sub directories, what I would like is for the random image to be displayed from the normal section only.  or turn off this feature. how do I do this?

PLUS-
batch importing. I always link my images to a zip file, can I batch import the image and the zip at the same time?
