thanks.. the batch_import was by JAn
thanks
Did a search , found something, that took all the images from a zip file and used them to batch with.. this is not what I ment:- What I needed is:-
example
a gif called baby.gif, in a folder on my server called people, when you view it you have the option of downloading a zip file called baby.zip ( in same folder) becase when I manaully upload each image I upload a zip file of the same name ( so the user can dl, a ziped file whcih has a lot more images in).
You see the in the zip file I will have the single framed images of the gif, see my web page,
www.mobelee.co.uk and check out the animations section. I create gifs for mobile phones, but the phones can only take single images, so I break them down for the user, who uploads the 7 or 8 single images to there phone thus creating the effect of an animation.
So the gif they see on my pages is what the single BMP/JPG images (whcih are in the zip file) will look like on there phone.
Ok.. Batch IMport allows the import of the images etc, but is there anyway I can configure it so that the imported image will automatically tag the associated named zip file,
so.. man.gif will be linked to man.zip
woman.gif will be linked to woman.zip
Importing the images is the easy bit , linking accross to there associated Zip files is the problem, I can link to a zip file of the GIF in question, this is not what I need, as the zip file I want them to get will hold something differnt to the gif.
hope you can now understand what I mean
