Title: How many images can 4images Gallery handle?
Post by: capn_paul on September 22, 2015, 08:27:59 PM
We have been using Gallery 2 for many years to host an image database on a self-hosted site.  We are up to over 350,000 images that take up over 70 Gb of space.  Recently, Gallery has gotten a little difficult to work with.  We used to be able to add about 1000 images at a time easily.  Now trying to upload 1000 images stalls part of the way through.  We developed a workaroung by cutting back to uploading 500 images at a time, but then that started to fail as well.  Gallery 2 is a PHP MYSQL image database, so it seems like these two systems are somewhat similar.

Will 4images Gallery be able to handle 70 Gb -- 350,000 images , and then be able to continue to grow?  We add 50,000 or so images each year.

Is the price for the Bundled version a one time fee?
