Title: Rearrange Photos

Is there a Mod, or can one be done, so that the Admin can rearrange the order of images within a category? I know there is a Mod somewhat like this, but I don't believe it would work for me since the images I need them for are scanned. I'd like to be able to rearrange them in the ACP just like you can change the categories around. And, of course, move any descriptions and comments if possible.

you would like to arrange picture by hand - not sorted by name or date or something else?
i just thinking about my page with categories of up to 300 Photos rearanged by hand?  :wink:

Yes, that is basically what I need to do. I don't have all my photos up yet, but I would like to be able to start uploading some of the easier ones (digital pictures) and then when I have time and I get to scanning pictures from 20 years or so ago, I can place them in the order I need before the newer photos. For example, say today I uploaded 100 pictures in a category, but a few months from now I finally got to scanning pictures that were much older. I would like to put those first (before), according to the date/year the picture itself was taken. I also would like this feature because I find that sometimes I upload a few pictures, but then find one that needed to go between 2 other ones. In order to do that now, I have to delete photos to get them in the correct order. A majority of my images, at this point, will be scanned photos from when I was a child, my parents as children, etc. But some of those I won't get until later (family needs to send them). I want to get other photos up now and then be able to easily "squeeze" the older photos where to need to be. Hopefull that makes sense:)

Nope..sorry, that won't work either :( I need to sort the images within each category. I appreciate your trying to help me find something:)

In that case, your last statement could be posted on the mentionned topic to see if this request is doable. ;)
