Does it have to be installed on your computer or on your website? Everything was working fine and then one day I get this error:
GD library error.
Check module settings
I installed GD over a year ago and don't remember how I did it. I was wondering if I just have to reinstall or something. I contacted my host and they said GD is enabled. Any ideas?

If GD is enabled, then it should work - it is a module installed on the server.
When does 4images show this error?
-
When I go into my control panel and click "auto thumbnail"

if u have root access to your server, u'll need check php.ini file for proper settings.
-
is that in phpmyadmin? and what settings am I looking for?
-
no, it is a file on the server, holding the PHP-Module's settings...
