Title: Help! German/English problem
Post by: Jinnie on June 27, 2002, 11:10:36 PM
We tried installing 4images with just the English language packet, and it insists on the dutch. Is there a way to install both perhaps, but have it just use the English?

No, you can install as much language packs as you want. Just upload the new pack to the lan directory.

You can call 4images such like:

www.url.com/4images/index.php?l=english
www.url.com/4images/index.php?l=dutch

l is a little L

We tried that, with only the english, but the software is refusing to work with it, it only works with German. (Not Dutch, sorry, I saw .de and got confused).

I get this error:

Warning: Failed opening './lang/deutsch/install.php' for inclusion (include_path='') in /server/WebSite/roughstock/lila/gallery/install.php on line 76

And this one:
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /server/WebSite/roughstock/lila/gallery/install.php:76) in /server/WebSite/roughstock/lila/gallery/install.php on line 100
(on multiple lines)

Ok, you are right. Put "deutsch" and "english" in the lang folder. At the top on the right side you can then switch the language to english.

Thanks so much! One more question, what's this?

DB Error: Bad SQL Query: SELECT DISTINCT i.image_id, i.cat_id, i.user_id, i.image_name, i.image_description, i.image_keywords, i.image_date, i.image_active, i.image_media_file, i.image_thumb_file, i.image_download_url, i.image_allow_comments, i.image_comments, i.image_downloads, i.image_votes, i.image_rating, i.image_hits, u.user_name, c.cat_name FROM 4images_images i, 4images_users u, 4images_categories c WHERE i.image_active = 1 AND i.cat_id NOT IN (0) AND u.user_id = i.user_id AND c.cat_id = i.cat_id ORDER BY RAND()
You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'RAND()' at line 4
