Title: installation problem (Database Name)
Post by: stephen on May 14, 2003, 12:23:03 AM
Hi all,
I keep getting this error when I fill up the first part of installation:

DB Error: Could not select database (4images).

What does this mean??? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the attempted help, but I haven't come that far yet. I get that message as soon as I click on 'Start installation.'
Any new suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

Or another way to maybe solve this: Is there any better instructions than the docs/installation.txt which is ½ german ½ english?
Best regards

Sorry, no.  Installation.txt is the only installation document available.  A major prerequisite to installing 4images is to first have a MySQL database and database user created.  You can ask your host about getting this set up for you.
