Hi, I seem to have a problem with viewing Page 2 of search results.
if you look at this
http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/gallery/search.php?search_user=BevS97
I have 18 images. If I try and select page 2, then I get a message
"Your search resulted in no matching records. "
this also happens if I change the images per page to a higher number.
Any suggestions as to why this might be happening??
Bev

-
ya, I'm getting the same error here. anybody? any ideas? thanks in advance.

would be very helpfull if u, guys, posted some more information about what kind of mods did u install, especialy if u did some board integrations.
also, I'd like to see in "action" that problem.
@BevS97 - cant see your site, bandwith axceeded
@uny, I see, that u integrated 4images with Invision board. I'd asume that's the case.
-
V@no, which means. no solution to this error as up now? :cry:
thx for help tho.

we are no longer using 4images - it was causing far too many problems, we have now moved to vbulletin and photopost and are much happier with that combination.
-
just out of curiosity...are the others that are experiencing problems using some kind of forum integration? i think it may be the session ids from my ipb integration thats screwing the pagination.
-
I was not using forum integration, in fact, I hadn't modified it very much at all.
You can see the old gallery at www.ukscrappers.co.uk/gallery

So, I guess it's not a intergration problem then.
hmm, must be something else.
I even installed Rebuild Search Index,, nothing happened too.
sigh,,, clueless now.. 8O :?:
-
by the way, this is happening to my Lightbox too. When I click on ALBUM, it sends me to that page..
"no match record..." :?: :?:

is it possible that its the 'rebuild search index' mod that is messing it up?

is it possible that its the 'rebuild search index' mod that is messing it up?
no, that actualy not even a mod, it's a plugin for admin control panel.
To all: try to change type="post" to type="get" in search_form.html template

nope...doesnt change a thing. is the search.html supposed to have any form elements?
-
V@no, thanks for your reply, but I dont' see anything like
type="post" to type="get" in search_form.html
only see form method="post"
so still change POST to GET?
did that, nothing happend,
thanks again!
-
ops, yes, that what I ment... :wink:
hmmm...but atleast did u see the full address with all "mombo-jumbo" stuff in the address bar?
-
i dont think its a skin problem. i just uploaded the default skin directory from the original installation zip file, and it didnt work with those templates.
-
i tried the switch to GET again...for the first time that results are shown, all the parameters are shown in the url. however, the links to the second and so forth pages do not have any parameters. i do believe its a problem with the links being formed.
-
ok, we will keep trying, as soon as we have the solution, we will post it here.. Hope it's going to be soon.
-
ok, I asume the problem is /includes/sessions.php, because search uses sessions.
so, lets try avoid using it, and use "inline" parameters instead.
try this:
in search.php find:
$link_arg = $site_sess->url(ROOT_PATH."search.php?show_result=1");
Replace with: $link_arg = $site_sess->url(ROOT_PATH."search.php?search_keywords=$org_search_keywords&search_new_images=$search_new_images&search_user=$org_search_user&search_terms=$search_terms&cat_id=$search_cat&search_fields=$search_fields");

thx V@no, tried, didnt' work :(
any other possibilities?? thank u :lol:
