Title: Insert New Images into Site's Front Page?

Is there a way to insert the new images into the front page of my site which is an html page? I'd like to have the new pics showcased on the front of my site every time someone uploads a pic automatically.

using version 1.7.7

Sorry if this has been asked already. I wasn't even quite sure what language to use to search for this.
