Title: Which [MOD] to choose?
Post by: edonai on August 18, 2009, 05:37:36 PM
Hello everybody,

I need your advice, so let me explain my situation :
In my detail page, i would like display image resized (400 px for example) and i use the MOD "Multi download size ver 3.1"
I have installed the following script : " PHPTHumb for Smaller detail image preview (to save traffic) "
It's work very well.

But the author said that : "if you are running your 4images gallery on a Shared hosting and you are getting high traffic then just forget it. because resizing is using a lot of memory if you are planning to have a lot a visitors and lot of pictures..".

Did you know a better solution that is less dependent on resource server?

Thanks

Edonai
