hi! I was wondering, when u install netpbm, do u need to put the path to it, or just the folder?
-
just
/home/myaccount/netpbm (w.o. trailingslash)
-
I have it installed at /usr/local/netpbm and I get the following ERROR:
NetPBM error. Wrong path or NetPBM not installed.
Check module settings
All I did was insert the lines /usr/local/netpbm as you said but I always get the error.
Any sugestions?

O.K is FIXED now!
I had to insert /usr/local/netpbm/bin and not /usr/local/netpbm
Working GOOD by netpbm... still testing with GD witch I also have problems and Magic...
I think is a path problem.....

Do you still have space available on that server (i.e. are your quotas not reached yet)? A file with the size of 0 is a sign for reaching the quota (at least that's what happened to me a couple of times :-) )
cheers,
Bernd

I have the exact same problem. .gif thumbnails are empty files, have 0 bytes. and yes I have lots of space available. NetPBM is working, I can create .jpg thumbnails just fine.

Glad to see this thread got answered... Well i am having the same problem, if there is anyone to help. I installed it all correctly, permission set on all the folder/files. When i click create thumbnail or resize image... it says successful, but i look at the image, and it is 0 bytes.
