Title: URL upload working, Borwser upload not working

hey all, ive just got all my info working and everything and then this happened. I can easilly upload an image by using a url form a image hosting site. When i come to browse my images from my documents of my pc then it coems up with error uploading file. It is the correct extension and size etc... Please help. Carnt figure out auto-thumbnailer either, i have GD installed and workign but nothing happens just comes up with an eye with JPG on it instead of the picture. Hopefully someone can help me with any luck.
