Hi, this is a probably a pretty stupid question...but what do you expect, im american :D . Is there a way to "upload" (using FTP, or an other method) multiple images to a single category? I do not need any keyword information etc. (I got rid of the search box alltogethor for my implementation)...I just need to be able to put 300 pictures in a category without doing each manually.
Thanks very much

Hi,
You can upload the pictures with your FTP-Client (media/xx - xx is the id for the category) and use in the control panel the "check new images" function.

hmm i am having problems finding where i should upload.... 4images directory then now what ???

First you have to create a category, this category has an id (e.g. 1) and at the same time 4images create in the folder media a folder 1 (1 = category ID)
After that you must upload your pictures in the desired folder (e.g. media/data/1) via your ftp-client.
After that you check for new images and choose the category.

My 4images gallery, only recognizes new images when they're placed in the main media folder (not when they're in the sub folders eg... 1, 2, 3) Why is this?
