"DB Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/default/header.html"
Get this error when requesting index.php after installing 4images, running the install.php script successfully and also using control panel (admin/index.php) successfully.
Also, same error when trying to view a picture from control panel...
Running on Mandrake Linux 8.2, Apache 1.3.23, PHP 4.1.2.
Any ideas gratefully received ;)

Did you checked if this file exists on your server. Not a great idea, but maybe it will help ;)

may i know how did u fix the problem?
i got this instead Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates//header.html
i'm sure the url is wrong. it should be /header.html only but then i don't know how to fix it.

that means, either u dont have ANY templates installed (nothing in /templates/ folder) or u didnt select any templates in the settings.
or, something messed up, and last "or": check CHMOD for your files/folder (more info u can find in /docs/installation.txt.)

there is a template in the templates folder. & i'm sure the chmods are right. but I just don't know how to select the templates in the settings (it doesn't say how to in the installation.txt). it has been a month that i couldn't get this started.

go to admin control panel -> settings

is there any other way to select a template without having to go to the control panel? cause i can't seem to login my admin control panel. i tried the user & pw that I put in install.php earlier but it doesn't work. & when I go back to install.php, the page directs to index.php. I can't change it again.
