how to change the banner & also put another space for advertising under the main banner

hey all can you help in that >>
i am installed 4images 1.71 and i want to change the banner and also i want to make space for any advertsing banners under the my banner
how can i do that

and i want to say this the first hours i use this :)
so plz explain to me what can i do

You must edit all the 'main' templates. 
They are the ones that contain:

as mawenzi already said,
you have to insert manually html code in your template files (the files in the template folder),
to get images inserted.
