Thumbnail Error

Everytime I try to create thumbnails I get the following error

"getimagesize(): Read error! in /home/classyb/public_html/galpic/admin/thumbnailer.php on line 115"

Did you check file permissions?

  5. Set permissions for the following directories:

those are all set like that, but it still isnt working, I alsp get this error when checking for new images

"Warning: opendir(./../data/media/218): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/classyb/public_html/gallery/admin/checkimages.php on line 192"

I had to reinstall my gallery and put the back up back up and now none of the folders or anything is showing up in my ftp

and u are sure data/media/218 directory exists?

I dont see it in my ftp, I deleted the gallery and reinstalled it and used the database backup to get the categories and such up, but they arent showing up in my ftp but i can see them on the gallery

well, database backup is only half of the backup...the second half are the files u've uploaded at your old gallery (files from data and templates folders)...
other words, restore database is not enough to resotore your gallery.

so it just restores the categories, okay, but how do i get the check images error to stop showing up

u must either recreate categories folders through FTP or remove all your categories through ACP and recreate them again.

and did u check the permissions of the new created folders? and u are absolutely sure data/thumbnails/3/ does exists?

Nun, habe seit neustem auch die gleiche Fehlermeldung.

Allerdings ist mein englisch nicht so gut um genau zu verstehen, was ich falsch gemacht habe, um nun die obenstehende Fehlermeldung zu erhalten.

o.k.
Habe mich durchgearbeitet und eine Lösung für mich gefunden. Das Board hier ist ja riesig und dadurch die Übersicht doch etwas eingeschränkt, vielleicht sollte man mal gründlich aufräumen. :P
