Title: Ordering Problem in mysql 4.1

Hallo,

kann man hier ebenfalls in deutsch schreiben? egal...

I have a problem with the sort order of images. We used gallery 1.7.4 on mysql 4.0.x but did a serverchange a few weeks ago.
Now we use mysql 4.1.22

If i open a categorie the thumbnails are shown.  Now i click on an image and use the links "next image". This order is different to the order on the thumbnailscreen.
I Think this could be a problem of the collation of the database. Original latin1_swedish_c1 was installed, i change it to latin1_german1_ci using the phpmyadmin.
But there was no effect.

I hope i could explain the problem. Is there any solution?

Du kannst auch auf deutsch fragen ;)

Das war ein Bug der in Version 1.7.3 eigentlich behoben sein sollte. Ist das eine "frische" 1.7.4 Installation oder hast Du Updates gemacht?

Hallo,

ich merk grad das ich blöd bin. Deine Antwort war der Treffer. Wir nutzen Version 1.7.1

Ich hab im CP zu flüchtig gekuckt: New version available: 1.7.4

Sorry, dann haben wir ja die Lösung.

Sollte ich die komplette neue Version installieren? Wäre wohl aus Sicherheitstechnischer Sicht anzuraten.
Oder würde es genügen die details.php bzw. n paar Zeilen zu tauschen?

Ich würde Dir auf jeden Fall raten die aktuelle Version zu installieren.
