Discussion & Troubleshooting / Re: Side Panel dissapears in Mozilla

Did you try removing any of the javascript code in your template?
There should have been a buton on the top right to enable or disable the javascript with the (left) side menu.

Also try the uploading original home.html from the wallpaper template to see if that helps.

If that dont work please post a link to your gallery so I can look.

Example Text form like this???

My fault, I wasn't thinking when I last posted.
I believe you can set your border permissins in your style.css file.

Example:
Quote
.thumb {
   border: 2px solid #98bc56;
   cursor: hand;
   height: 200px;
   background-color: #ffffe1;
   }
and
Quote
.thumb2 {
   border: 2px solid #98bc56;
   background-image: url('images/bg1.gif');
   height: 200px;
   }

This is what I have, so you could probably edit yours to your liking.

Just add border in your html (border="1")

This is all I see for step 5:

Step 5
Download "Autoimage Install" file.

Unzip it and upload to your 4images ROOT dir.
Start it http://yoursiteaddress/4images/install_autoimage.php

Then after you use the install_autoimage.php you delete that file from your website.

54
You can modify your template.
Example would be your home.html template.

I also have this problem with PHP 4.4.6.
I get a white page (member.php) after I upload images.

This does not happen all the time. It only happens if I upload 3 or more images using the multiupload mod.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Okay, then this means setting upload and download permissions for my ftp program? I use Cute FTP and I have windows xp installed in my computer, if this helps any. That tutorial page didn't make alot of sense to me because it says it's for Linux and I don't know anything about using Linux. Thanks.
You are not setting permissions for your FTP program. You set permissions on your files/folders in your web server.

I don't use Cute FTP, but hope what I read in their forum helps.
To set permissions on a file you would have to right click on it, go to "Propeties/CHMOD". I believe that is where you can set the permissions.

If it is a windows thing then maybe someone that uses windows (with 4images) can help as that I have never used for web sites and have no clue on the differences since I never even tried it.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Re: error in uploading image !

But if the user has to go through an interface such as cpanel or Plesk (common virtual hosts), data directories created by the script (apache client) have to be deleted and re-created through the interface file manager with CHMOD 777, as then the apache client has no permissions... to manage folders permissions.

Not completely true. I used cPanel on all my installs with 2 different hosts. the only thing I had to do was set the permissions (did with FTP). I did not have to delete anything and then re-create them.
I do know what you mean and I am sure a lot of hosts have their things set up differently and you do have to do that on the majority. Was just mentioning that this is not always the case with cPanel with every host.
