How often to Rebuild the Search Index?

Should I only rebuild the search index if I am having problems or should I do it on some kind of regular basis? What are the benefits of doing so?

normaly you don't have to do that because every entry of new pictures will be automaticaly in the search index.

if you mean you have some problems with it, feel free and rebuild it when you want with [Plugin] Rebuild Search Index
