can't upload pictures: member.php unavailable

i've got a problem like this:
when i try to upload picture (direct upload or thgrough admin panel) error "connection closed by remote server" and that member.php file's unavailable. when i point my browser directly at that address, the 'forgotten password' page appears, so i guess the file's alright.

i have to upload pictures via ftp then enable them. how can i solve this?

i've got latest 4images.

edit: i just checked in IE (i was using ff and opera) and it started working... so i guess it's (temporarily) solved
