New- Google free website Analytics

Thought I would share with everybody what I found.

All u have to do is Signup and place the the Javascript code they give you in your header file.

I just signed up, it says it may take up to 12 hours to start reporting back to you.

I dont use Adwords, but it does mention something about adding this feature threw adwords.

Or if you meant will google use this to add advertising to you page. The answer is NO.

They are smart!
Now they dont need so much resources for the google bots to crowl around the web, the sites will share all the needed info with them by themselfs

P.S. I'm not saying its a bad thing
P.P.S. Just thought of something bad... now google will be able "access" to the pages googlebots cant - such as the member's/admin's personal pages, control panels, data, etc (unless ofcourse the code they provided was placed wisely not in "header"/"footer" or something like that;))

Naja, ich bin irgendwie nicht ganz durchgestiegen was man damit wirklich so machen kann. Außerdem weiß ich nicht genau in welche Dateien ich den Code einbauen soll...

benutze es schon recht lange und mir gefällt es

der code muss einfach nach den meta tags eingebaut werden, also eigentlich muss er nur im head bereich im header eingebaut werden.

hi!
no, you have to put your google analytics code right before </body>
in your footer.html in your templates-folder
(otherwise only your index-site will be tracked but not whole page!
