Discussion & Troubleshooting / Thank you!

I'm sorry. I should have checked the FAQ. I should have LOOKED for a FAQ. I just always jump to the conclusion that the trouble I'm having is some unique problem that NO ONE has ever had before.

I will definitely check next time!
Thanks!
Shari

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Upload Error Messages
« on: January 20, 2003, 08:54:46 PM »
I have created a new category in my gallery for my own private photos. I have set the user level to private and have given the Admin (me) persmission to upload to this category. I have resized the image to make sure it fits into the maximums I have set for my gallery. When I try to upload from the Administration area, I receive these error messages.

Warning: Unable to create './../data/media/15/ShariPeekCrop.jpg': No such file or directory in /home/foundart/public_html/gallery/includes/upload.php on line 111

Warning: Unable to move '/tmp/phpc0Grk7' to './../data/media/15/ShariPeekCrop.jpg' in /home/foundart/public_html/gallery/includes/upload.php on line 111

I have also created a "user" account for myself and set permissions so that I can upload and view this new category. I try uploading the image from the user side and receive these error messages.

Warning: Unable to create './data/media/14/sharipeekcrop.jpg': No such file or directory in /home/foundart/public_html/gallery/includes/upload.php on line 111

I am not a php-head. I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to tinkering with my webpage or with programming. I'd appreciate specific advice concerning how to correct this error.

Thank you!
Shari

P.S. I am still using version 1.6.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Reverse problem
« on: August 28, 2002, 08:27:41 PM »
I am new to using 4images gallery. I'm trying to make sure I know everything I can about it before I open the door to my members. One thing I would like is for all uploaded images to be protected. Even though I set preferences for no downloading, I was able to click on an image to download it.

By the sounds of this thread, disabling right clicks come standard with the gallery. But that hasn't been my experience. Is it only disabled on some browsers or some versions of browsers? I'm on a Mac using IE 5.1.

Thanks for your help!
Shari
