Gerade will ich die Gallery installieren, klicke auf "ok" und was erscheint?

..."try again later" funktioniert aber nicht :s was mach ich jetzt? ô___Ô

I'm guessing one of two problems, either 1) you haven't set up a MySQL database, or 2) the idiosyncrasies of cpanel have stumped you. Try this procedure ...
1. Set up cpanel
- Get into cpanel (http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel) and select the MySQL link.
- There should be an entry for "New database". Type "4images" in there and select "create database" of "OK" or whatever.
- Here's something to watch for - Even though you just created a 4images database, it will now be called userid_4images where userid is your userid.
- Create a user for your new database - Type "admin" in the "username" box and a password in the "password" box.
- Click on "Create User".
- Finally, you'll need to give your new user database privileges and you do that further down the page where the heading is "Add users to your database." Pulldown "userid_admin" and "userid_4images", make sure "ALL" is selected and press the "Add user to database" button.
- Voila, you're done and can close the cpanel page.
2. Now perform the 4images installation
The attachment pretty much describes what to type where. Remember that even though your database is "4images" and your database user is "admin", you will need to enter them as userid_4images and userid_admin respectively.

This happened to me about a week ago and I contacted my hosting provider to see what happened.
All they said was the it was "due to the user not existing" and then when I asked them why or how it could of happened they said "It could have been a simple mistake; or another bug in cpanel.".
So if you used cpanel to install 4images I would contact your host right away to see if that was the problem.
Otherwise all you need to do is re-add mysql user (like above post from woodp).

this is not solving the problem, the issue is more than just installation!!
suddenly the 4images is not working even in different servers, its an issue with the 4images i believe.

load all files NEW on your Server, but NOT config.php of Root on your Server an look at /docs/ Installation_english.txt and read "CHMOD" of only files

Templates are availbles guys, everything is fine.
I tried to install a new version: www.osamaworld.com/studio with new files, username, and database but still same problem
i believe its because of the PHP/MySQL version!
my server info:
PHP version 4.4.4
MySQL version 4.1.21-standard
????

mein englisch ist grausam deswegen auf deutsch mit der hoffnung auf hilfe..
ich hab das heute alles runtergeladen auf den server geschmissen soweit so gut..
wenn ich die installations.php aufrufe kann ich meine daten eingeben *die alle stimmen, habs 10 mal überprüft*
kommt nur die meldung:
An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.
keine weitere fehlermeldung nichts..
kann mir jemand helfen ?

Er hat nicht die Daten eingegeben die er mir geschickt hat, ich habe nur die Daten genommen welche ich per PN bekommen habe, was hätte ich sonst auch anderes machen sollen? (o:

I think, solve this problem. Don't know Deutsch, maybe already answered.
I've got topic problem when I trying to install by install.php and after filling form. After receiving this "unexpected error", I manually created a database, but without tables in it. Problem disappear.
But when I also created tables manually (just investigation), I've got a lot of "unexpected" errors and list of sql requests in the end.... So, this is wrong decision.
Try just create void database in your SQL server.
