Awesome updates, btw i build a theme in 2018 which is responsive and 25+ users of community are using it.

After upgrading to 1.8 I am missing the "upload" button that shows on category pages (folders) when logged in.
Do you have a fix for this?
Thanks.

Hello, we have tested it on 1.8 and upload works fine, i have replied to your email to fix it for you :)

I have released a theme (template - prodigy) which works 100% with 4images 1.8 and tested with google responsive site. Please find the link in signature if you need to review.

We have updated the theme for 1.8 with some changes listed below, for those who already purchased and installed theme they don't need to re-download or update anything. This is just for new buyers.

  • Code for button removed to avoid excessive changes in core coding (default GIF images)
  • Adsense block added in header
  • Core PHP files included in package

Templates & Styles (Releases & Support) / Re: [Template] Prodigy Responsive

Hi, I love this template. One thing, it seems that there are missing images files in your template that cause errors under images where Lightbox, ecard, download etc shouod be.  I uploaded them again.

I downloaded your prodigy_core files and tried to do the addition for index.php but the numbers, as someone else mentioned, are off (line 123 seems off).  In Search.php I avoided adding the class because the line number seems off.  Also, I am unsure how to "Add class ui centered image to all media files like media/jpg, media/png and so on"

I also love how parkshots.de did the combined photo and video menu elements.  Right now I have two galleries, one for photos and one for videos and combining them would be super. Is there a way to link the two separate galleries with their two separate databases under one template?

thank you so much!

Hi,

Thanks for your interest, i am working on an upgrade for 1.8 and the issues of core_files along with other changes you suggested should be fixed. You ll get an email along with upgrade notes soon. Yeah i agree parkshots implemented the theme very professionally. He can suggest you the tactics of combining the galleries.

If you have any issue in installation or core files, let me know to fix it for you :)

Regards

I seem to be having trouble making modifications on 1.8.0, the line numbers aren't right. I'm also not really sure where in the line to insert them either...

Hi alsaire,

If you have any issue let me know to fix it or directly install it for you :)

Programming / Re: how to use image in SQL
« on: October 10, 2016, 09:56:10 AM »
It is not a good programing practice to save images in database. The simplest methodology is to save images with a reference from mysql.

For example you have a table of images with unique ID, you can use this ID along with some hash (for protection) and store in a folder, at the time of retrieval call the id with hash.
