how can users make their own categories?  i know there has to be a way.  i know that admin can create them but the purpose of my website is for registered uesrs to create their own subcategories.  dont tell me its not possible because i really need this!

Acura (category made by admin)
          -bob's integra  (user created subcategory- not admin!!)
          -tom's mdx
Honda..etc

make sure u have a folder called /data/media/2/
if you dont then make one and chmod it to 755 or 777

my category names are car makes (acura, honda, etc) ...and what im trying to do is allow people to upload their own car images...but i can only have 1 picture per CAR in a category...im tryin to make it so the person can upload 2 + images for each car ...kinda like a subcategory...the person can have his own folder in the acura category...so i guess what im trying to say is...can i make subcategories?

ex.  -Acura    
               -Bob's Acura
                        -pic1
                        -pic2
                        -pic3
               -Jim's Acura
                        -pic1
                        -pic2
                        -pic3

how can i upload more than one image per album?  Our website allows users to upload pictures of their cars but the only problem is that we cant get multiple pictures of the same car unless we have separate albums.  Which file do i need to edit and where is the upload form located at? thanks.

you are the man. thanks a lot...that was a quick reply..it worked...the problem was that i didnt even have a folder called thumbnails/2/ so i had to create it.  thanks again.

GD seems to be the only image converter that works with this gallery...but the auto thumbnailer still doesnt work.  We get this error...

Create thumbnail for: IS 300 (lexusIS300_15.jpg) ....
