Has anyone migrated their gallery to Wordpress?

I have a 10 year old site built using 4images gallery script (4homepages.de). I am trying to find out if the site and its content can be migrated to Wordpress. I already have a blog section for news which is on Wordpress. I want the gallery part of it to be merged with Wordpress. At the moment, there are close to 500,000 images on the gallery.
