In includes/db_mysql.php find:
        echo "<br /><font color='#FF0000'><b>An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.</b></font><br />";

replace it with:
        echo "<br /><font color='#FF0000'><b>DB Error</b></font>: ".$errmsg."<br />";


The try register again and post the exact error message it shows.

P.S.
you should remove this change once you see the error.

Hi,
I have problem with new users registration. Everything worked fine for a long time but I have registration problem right now.. When somebody want to create new account, this message appears: "An unexpected error occured. Please try again later.". I'm running on 4images 1.7.4. url: www.artvision.sk.
I dont want upgrade to new version because I did many many many customizations in gallery and i'm a bit scared of moving them to new version.
Please, do you have an idea what could be wrong there?

Hi,
could be new added subcategory show on the top of subcategories? I mean ordering of categories by date of adding - I mean exactly same thing which you could setup in ACP in settings with new added images - ordering by date, by name, by nmr of downloads.... I know that I should order categories manually in ACP but I didnt find any way how to setup it for doing automatically when new user add subcategory  .

I´m out of ideas  . It still write that Your category was created successfully! but category is not in categories tree.. I´m using 4images 1.7.4 and website is http://www.artvision.sk/index.php?l=eng. Test account is - username: test and password: test. Link to Add new category is in left down corner on frontpage. Any suggestion please?

Hello derrick!

Thanks for using my AddCat Mod. It seems like the creation process works well but something is wrong with the database. You need to look at the "4images_categories" table at your database interface (phpMyAdmin). If you find some wrong or left out entries then please post this here. (if the category name, parent_id or something is empty at your new category then i can fix the problem).

If you don´t know what to do then please contact me with PN or ICQ and we can look nat this together.

Hi,

Its fixed! Problem was with the name of the table - in your add-cat-script is predefined table "4images_categories". But I installed 4images twice with other tables and I´m using right now table with name "4images1_categories"..  And that was it! Anybody could insert category right now  .

Hi,

I upgraded my gallery to 1.7.4 and still same problem  .
I did small research /just general one - I´m not programmer  / and I found
1. that after logout is site out of functionality but if I open same page in other browser /e.g. firefox/ I can again login without any problems again - but unfortunately I still cannot logout     
2. that after logout is site out of functionality but if I open same page in same browser without using www /http://artvision.sk instead http://www.artvision.sk/ it is working again and I can login again without any problems - but unfortunately same situation when I´m trying logout..

I´m absolutely not sure if could any of this information help you fix my problem  but hopefully yes.
Than do you have right now any idea why is that on my site?

Hi,

I have one problem - users /include admin from ACP/ cannot logout. If you are loged in and you click on logout, nothing happend. Site is looking that is doing something but user is not loged out and user also cannot open any other window on site. URL is http://www.artvision.sk , username: test and password: test. Its version: 4images 1.7.3.  Any suggestions please?
