Some File Types Corrupting on Download
« on: May 28, 2008, 07:53:40 PM »
Hello, I'm using 4Images 1.76. On our site we hold word documents and microsoft publisher file types. I use the download URL to point to the master document on the server. However when I download .doc and .pub files they get corrupted on download. Does anyone have an idea of why?

Hi all

I am having similar issue as the above.

I upgraded to 1.7.6,
PHP version 5.2.3
register_globals off

I tried to download a PNG image which is about 422 KB. The image is stored on the same domain but outside the gallery - I provided a direct url under Download URL. The download comes up with 0KB.
When I download via FTP, the image is fine.

Can someone please advise where the problem could be?

Thanks
Xandra

Hi Nobby

Thanks for your help, however I tried either way (zlib turned on or off) and it still downloads with 0KB.
