Title: [MOD] Google Sitemap with [Mod] Search Engine Friendly URLs aka Short URLs

Hello together,

based on this [MOD] GOogle Sitemap for your gallery  (http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=15687.0) - I want herewith give a clear overview how to get the sitemap work together with using [Mod] Search Engine Friendly URLs aka Short URLs (http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6729.0)

this is especially for those who have links like e.g.
domain.de/cat-georgia-1.html and domain.de/img-bildname-76.html

I have attached a working google.php-file for this....

You must install the [Mod] Search Engine Friendly URLs aka Short URLs (http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6729.0) before using this file.

1. Upload the file google.php to the root folder of 4images.
2. Modify the .htaccess to rewrite the URL of sitemap.

Code: [Select]

RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml$ google.php
Now the URL of sitemap is: http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

You can send a ping to Google to notify your new sitemap by this way: http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=URL_TO_YOUR_SITEMAP

This looks great... and everything works fine!  :)

Since bing.com has "relaunched" the serach-engines-List it would also nice to see about a sitemap for microsoft's new bing. The sitemap above doesn't work here...

Instand of

I have this now:

Which is OF COURSE way better than before but isnt it possible to make the link like

http://orchids.at/Sonstige.htm
or something close? so the Name of the category is in that link?
Same with the pictures instand of the nr. the pic name which the user picked?

or did I missed something  8O

I have a problem

the site map is more than 50 000 link

how i can fix it?
