Chit Chat / board off limits !

Hi this regarding the 4images forum.

Lately there had been quite a few posts which require login for viewing and after authentications I get an board error statin " the page is off the limits "
I tried to register a new account and still the problem persists . Can admins kindly check whether or not the following topics has restricted access

Discussion & Troubleshooting / 4images all in one patch / package

Hi , I have been using 4images since 3 years and totally love the script .
But to MOD 4images to make it seo friendly from the new install takes quite a time and troubles .

So I was wondering has anybody created an all-in-one patch for 4images or a all-in-one install (custom ) which includes : SEO friendly urls MOD , TITLE tags MOD , sitemap etc ....



I understand that most of the times MODs require editing template files too , but making a patch for the most popular templates can be great .

So Any one with already patched files or any suggestion to make an All-in-one patch to include all the favorite MODs  ???

Discussion & Troubleshooting / trick for getting indexed in google images

Hi , I recently realized despite of gallery pages being successfully  indexed in google site search, none of the images from gallery were displayed when I searched for the entire site on images.google.com

The 4images is kind enough to provide alt tags on all the images including the ones in details.html but that isnt helping in getting indexed in images.google.com
I found that one work around for this is by adding the hyperlink of the image in details.html to the image itself .
The template shows {image} as the tag for showing images how can I modify it too add link to it to the main image .

I hope I have cleared my self  !

Installation, Update & Configuration / updating from 1.7.4 to 1.7.6 while keeping the MODS

HI , I had been using 4images for past 2 years and I must say I totally digg it and consider it the best opensource gallery management system, due to the fact that it customizable extensively and has great support (thanks to all the developers helping out in this forum)   
I had installed v1.7.4 released about 2 years ago and since then there had been some major changes to the new versions 1.7.5 and then eventually 1.7.6 which I consider are more stable , so I was quite interested in upgrading v.1.7.6 the only thing holding me back is I HAD installed several MODs like :
-short urls
-custom title tags

and some others that cant even recall as I lost some hard disk and lost the logs of the mods installed

SO without making this post long , I wanted to know is there any possible method or suggestion with which I can upgrade to 1.7.6 while keeping and maintaining my installed MODs .

Installation, Update & Configuration / errors on server migration !

Hi , My webhost recently had to do an massive server migration .....
as the migration was from the webhost side and not from my side they had to restore everything back to normal as it was earlier but they didnt I guess 
After the migration everything looked normal and okay until one fine day I added an new category .

I faced an error message" Mauvaise connexion FTPEssaye de se connecter a 202.190.203.167 for user" but the category was made in the homepage .

Then I checked everything again and had to set the permissions correctly and turned off the safe mode but again I faced an error "Mauvaise connexion FTPEssaye de se connecter a 202.190.203.167 for user"

and on deletion I face 

Error Log:
    The following errors occurred:
•   Error deleting image file. (test, ID: 52)
•   Error deleting thumbnail file (test, ID: 52)


(well the category name I was making was :: test )
I had to make directory manually with correct ID as the folder name in /data/media and /data/thumbnails then the following errors were not shown on deletion of the category :

Error Log:
    The following errors occurred:

but I am still facing error on creating new cat i.e. Mauvaise connexion FTPEssaye de se connecter a 202.190.203.167 for user

Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / removing (number of images) in categories

Hi , I was wondering how can I remove the number of images displayed with categories and other stats like hits number of pages etc....

I really wanted t remove the number showed with the categories in the home and categories page I tried editing the template but got no luck .
Any Help please

Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / seo title for rss feeds

Hi used  [MOD] Dynamic Page Title for v1.7 & v1.7.1 and appreciated it pretty much but recently I got my site crawled (which is pretty new ) and ironically it crawled the RSS feeds first and in the search results it shows the site first i.e. site_title cat_name

rather than cat_name site_title .

Is there any way in changing title of RSS feeds in the same order as of the [MOD] Dynamic Page Title for v1.7 & v1.7.1 .

Discussion & Troubleshooting / How batch upload to SUBCATEGORIES from ftp

Hi I am unable to figure it out how to batch upload image files from ftp to subcategories as there id folders are not showing up in the in /data/media directory .
While the category folder are showing up which are upto 9 in my case by the subcategory id folders are not showing up neither in the /data/media folder nor in the /data/media/1 folder  .
But the category id of subcategories is showing up in the control panel i.e. upto 15  .

How do i batch upload to subcategories using FTP  :

Pls help me out as I wanna index each and evry page of me gallery to be indexed by search engine is how is it possible??

Hi I am facing an error whenver I try to create thumbnails using netpbm it says:
Create thumbnail for: 1 (10768-7-b.jpg) ....

   Error creating thumbnail!

I have also tried using chmod 777 but no use still facint this error
my php version 4.3.11 and mysql version 4.0.20-standard
