I'm trying to narrow down where this problem originated from.

Recently I noticed when trying to delete spammer comments and their accounts, after deleting the comments the comment # count for that image does not reset or move back to a proper count.

Anyone seen this before?

example:

Comments: 1

Delete comment (resulting in no Comments for that image)

Comments: 1
should be 0

Just got this error in my Admin control panel while trying to change a value for a catergories. Changeing who can post comments to 'Registered User' and after i click save I get the following.

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE cat_id = 24' at line 3
Anyone know where that call would of came from? what php file?
or is it something else

my {download_button} has stopped working on my images. download zip works fine. The {download_button} downloads a 0kb image that cannot be read and its the name of the file.

Any ideas what has happened?

Is it at all possible to remove / exclude certain categories from showing up in the new images section of the home page?

Installation, Update & Configuration / More Thumbnails on Home

For some reason this option is hiding from me. I would like to show 2 rows of thumbnails on the front page (home.htm) preferably from only a specific category but still trying to find this option anyways.

Right now all i have is 4 thumbnails, 1 row. I can't find it in the settings. Can someone help?

For some unknown reason, Chrome likes to highlight tables and cells on my site when you mouseover them. I can't understand why and It does not happen in IE or FF.

Has anyone run into this problem?

I cant seem to get past the first part of installation. Here's what the installer says

My server provider just informed me that they rebuilt their apache server and added new features. Well since then I can't use the Edit Images or Add Images/Validate functions in the Admin CP. All I get are blank pages.

Anyone have any idea what could of happened?

I would like to Create a Category like all my other categories but when the user clicks on the category I want them to be redirected to a different page.

Is this an easy possibility?

Im looking to restrict what a registered user can see. I have a User Group and I only want that user group to see a certain field within the details.html template.

I've had success with {if user_loggedout}{endif user_loggedout}{if user_loggedin}{endif user_loggedin}
but is there an {if} for permissions / user groups?

Im trying to add an image like a small thumbnail to a comment but it only displays as a link when I post it. Is there a way to have the image display insted of it just being a link?

Hi,

Is there a way to exclude images being added to the latest images from a certain category, or one that has certain user group permissions attached to it?

I basicly dont want images from a certain category to show up in the 'New Images' area of my site.

Is this possible?

I run a photoblog which can be found here. http://cydonian.com/potd/ it uses a cool little mod that was called:
 [ADD-ON] Random-Latest image at the external web-page
but i can no longer find it on this forum since the hack.

Im going away for a week and I would love it if 4images had the ability to post images to my 4images site according to the date specified in that images properties. You can set what ever date you want in the db but you have to click the activate button inorder to display it.

Is there any way to setup a mod or tweak that will post the images on the dates specified in the images properties? This way I can upload a weeks worth of images, adjust each images date so one shows Monday, the next Tuesday, and so on..

Anyoen else interested in something like this?
