Adding Pages to Categories

How to add more pages to categories on index page.. i mean to say.. categories shown like this..

        first category << 1  2  3  4  5  6..... 100 >> last category


Is there any mod for this? I can even pay for this service..

well, i have been trying to implement this thing for more than 6 hours.. still no use.. the thread you mentioned is outdated.. secondly it refers to a hierarcy of threads.. paging.. then reference.. and so on..!

Can anybody simply implement this mod for the latest 1.7.4 step by step  :?: Thanks to all the helpers here..!
