Random Image

I read about random image in this forum but i cannot do what i want.

My problem is that on the start page i want to have 6 or 9 random images (3 in each line)

and the 3 newest pictures.

(i try by increassing the random image and store the new value in a new variable but i got many errors)

Is there any better way to do so?

i wonder your question - because it seems to me you are using coppermine software!

No is not coppermine is 4 images

i have in the home page 3 random and 3 newest picture what i want to do is to make 6 random pictures or 9
