I think you should contact your host administrator...something wrong with the server. The errors don't make any sense. I don't know what is in your rebuild_iptcindex.php, but in checkimages.php nothing that could possibly cause such error.

hier ein kurze Rückmeldung. Nach neuer Installation von Imagemagick funktioniert alles perfekt.

Hallo!

Hab mir gerade dieses MOD installiert.
Bei Bildern ohne IPTC Daten funktioniert es wunderbar. Sobald jedoch IPTC Daten vorhanden sind passiert gar nichts...
Auch das Bild an sich wird nicht in die Galerie gespeichert.
Bekomme nur nen weißen Frame und das Bild ist im Originalordner mit .bak ergänzt. That's all folks.

Irgendwelche Ideen?

Sure...
After restoring the original file everything works as usual.
Maybe a version conflict with current 1.7.7?

Please provide an image to test with, cause it works fine with images I've tested it with, I can't reproduce what you've described...

Just tried some other (smaller) pics...
Maybe its a problem with the resizer, when turning it off the Mod works...
For I always resize before uploading thats what I can live with.   :)

Btw - is their a posibility for updating IPTC data on pictures that are already in the galery?

Most probably it's your server runs out of memory, usually switching to ImageMagick solves this problem.

Sorry, no, it's not possible with this mod. In fact 4images still has problem handling IPTC/EXIF data when resizing images...

I don't even think that ImageMagick is installed on that server...
Maybe I can update those pictures when moving to another hoster.

hallo, erstmal muss ich sagen super mod. genau was ich brauche - besten dank. nur habe ich bei den iptc daten probleme das diese nicht richtig in die datenbank gespeichert werden - wenn umlaute wie ä, ü oder ö drin vorkommen. wie kann man das ändern?

Exactly what is the problem? Do you see the same problem with original images.php that comes with 4images?

Hallo – danke für deine Antwort. Meine Version ist 1.7.7.

Wenn ich beim Import die IPTC  übernehme werden dort die Sonderzeichen (ä,ü,ß) falsch in die Datenbank gespeichert. getönt ist dann getšnt. Wenn ich aber bei „Bild bearbeiten“ dann ein ö dort reinschreibe wird es richtig in die Datenbank gespeichert. Es muss etwas in der checkimages.php nicht stimmen.

Hat keiner eine Idee?

Bei mir ist immer das Problem, dass ich keine Thumnails erstellen kann. Weder automatisch mit der "checkimages.php" noch manuell über "Auto-Thumbnailer". Kann mir da jemand helfen. Hab Version 1.7.6 und 1.7.7 versucht. Ich finde den Fehler nicht :-(

Hi,
gibt es denn bei dir das "BIG", ein "TEMP" Verzeichnis. Sind die berechtigen auch für das System zugänglich. Als Test würde ich chmod 777 empfehlen.

OT: Das Design deiner HP gefällt mir schon. Empfehle dir, bevor nun ewig viele MOD's eingebaut werden, ein update auf 1.7.7 :-)

Die Homepage war schon fertig. Hab die Dateien noch auf m Rechner. Kann ich bei 1.7.7. die Dateien grad rüberziehen? Funktioniert das? Sonst muss ich noch mal alles "cut and paste" machen.

Wo soll da das TEMP Verzeichnis sein?

Unter data hab ich ein TEMP Verzeichnis, aber nicht unter BIG. Die Rechts sind alle auf 777. Das hab ich X-mal geprüpft :-( Ich komm einfach nicht weiter!!!!
