Hi,

die Captcha-Funktion funktioniert nicht richtig. Der wird immer anzeigt, aber trotzdem wimmelt es in der Galerie von Spam. Ich habe auch geschaut, ob man als Gast einfach so posten kann, ohne den Code einzugeben. Geht aber nicht. Auch mit falschen Code geht es nicht. Die Spambots müssen das irgendwie um gehen, denn bis gestern vor dem Update war die Galerie frei von Spam. Erst danach tauchten massig Spams auf. Das einzige was geholfen hat, war ein Script, dass irgendwie mit Javascript funktioniert. Bei aktivierten Javascript kam das Eingabefeld nicht und man konnte Kommentare schreiben, aber bei deaktiviertem Java kam das Eingabefeld und das konnte auch nicht umgangen werden. Damit war die Galerie wirklich Spam frei.

Lade Dir nochmal die Zip-Datei herunter und ersetze die Datei "includes/captcha_utils.php". Ich habe den Code etwas optimiert. Außerdem ist es sinnvoll, eigene Hintergund-Bilder und Schriftarten zu verwenden. Einfach die Dateien im Ordner "captcha/backgrounds" und "captcha/fonts" autauschen. Da 4images relativ weit verbreitet ist, werden natürlich sofort Programme entwickelt die versuchen den CAPTCHA-Schutz zu knacken. Deshalb ist es gut, wenn man eigene Grafiken verwendet.

Wenn Du Windows verwendest, kannst Du übrigens die dort installierten Fonts (Schriftarten) verwenden. Diesen befinden sich üblicherweise im Ordner "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts". Achte aber darauf, dass Du nur TrueType-Fonts verwendest.

Sag doch kurz bescheid wenns was geholfen hat.

What PHP-Version do you use?

Im Moment scheints zu funktionieren. Ich habe die Galerie mal vor langer Zeit in 2 Teile geteilt, weil es normalerweise um ein Spiel ging, aber immer mehr echte Fotos aufgetaucht sind. Die Galerie mit den echten Fotos hat den neuen Code drin, und auch eigene hintergrundbildchen, die ich mal gezaubert habe. Bis jetzt ist diese Galerie spamfrei. In der anderen Galerie habe ich noch nichts gemacht. Dort wurde zur gleichen Zeit fleißig weiter gespammt.
Ich guck morgen mal, ob übernacht vielleicht doch noch was kommt. Ich schreibe dann morgen nochmal hier rein, wie es aussieht.

Eine Verbesserungsmöglichkeit hätte ich noch: Einige User bei mir regen sich immer auf, dass überall der Code eingegeben werden muss. Ist es möglich, den Code so anzupassen, dass die Codes nur noch von Gästen abgetippt werden müssen?

It seems that there is a bug in the PHP function mime_content_type(). Try the following:
Open includes/functions.php and replace everything between and including

and the last

}
with the contents of the text file attached to this post.
Then open rss.php and replace

Code: [Select]

mime_content_type
with

Code: [Select]

get_mime_content_type

The copyright notice at your gallery says "Powered by 4images v1.7". Are you sure that you've updated all files correctly. Please read "docs/update.english.txt" for detailed instructions.

Replacing you installed files with the new files means that modifications you've done at your code are gone. You have to re-apply all modifications.

on the test gallery i`m working with the new, 1.7.3 version.

I`d like to share my experience with the process of installing mods within this version.


  1. Toplist altered  - OK
  2. Last comments v1 - OK
  3. eCard Counter - OK
  4. Dynamic Page Title - OK (few places needs to analyze the code from php files as it doesn`t match ideally)
  5. Postcard viewer - OK
  6. Adjustments to postcards.php for preventing yahoo bulk mail filter - OK
  7. "Ecards received" notification - OK (again, few places needs to analyze the code from php files as it doesn`t match ideally)
  8. Last comments on index page - OK
  9. Batch annotate - OK

OK means after installing these mods the gallery and mods works great.
My rating so far for 1.7.3 "9.5" / 10

I`d like to ask here 1 question:

Is possible to disable the "verification code" for uploading image, sending postcards until it will be needed? so far i still didn`t encounter spam problems with this. And if it is possible to simplify the code to 2-3 letter with a smaller "image of verification code"? (to be honest i didn`t look yet the php code for this aspect).
