direct link to other template
« on: May 21, 2005, 11:49:30 AM »
Hello

I want to give guests (in my case kids) the possibility to link directly to another template.
V@no has something like this on his gallery. ( Layout: » Menu: right / Auto-hide).

Can anybody help me with this?

Thanks,

Jan

to link directly to another template.

Templates are parsed by PHP and the resulting page is sent to the browser.  You cannot link to templates so what do you mean by this?

V@no has something like this on his gallery. ( Layout: » Menu: right / Auto-hide).

This is still unclear to me.  Please explain

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your reply.
I'm using 4Images for a website for the local volleyball club.
I want to create a separate section for kids, with a different layout.
I know it's possible for members to change the layout.

What I want is: A link called KIDS linking to another layout using a different template.
It's possible on V@no's gallery to change the layout of his gallery by clicking "right or Auto-hide" in his left menu.
I hope I'm clear now.

regards,

Jan

Okay, I see now.

Then you should not start a new topic. Instead, please reply to the mod thread. That way you get the attention of those who use the Notify me when a reply is posted option and it keeps all related information in one place for people who search the forums.

I think the solution is going to involve a minor change in that mod.
