what php editor is very good?
I've tryed PHPEd, PHPEdit, notpad, macromedia dreamweaver, EditPad. phped and dreamweaver work extreamely slow on WinXP, the rest is just toys.
how about u guys? what do u use? what can u recomend (free, not free)?

Im doing the HTML-Stuff with Dreamweaver, but for PHP (like Jan said) UltraEdit is the best Windows-Program i know!

Its not free (trial can be downloaded) but its worth every dollar you have to spend for it (great all-around-tool for viewing lots of Text-File-Types...)

I think Dreamweaver MX is pretty good for php editing.

UltraEdit is the best I've tryed too! thx, guys!
Chris, dreamweaver MX is good too, exept that it work EXTREAMLY slow on my Windows XP machine, I need wait about 5-10 sec until it start then my CPU loads at 25% (I would stick with dreamweaver, since I've bought it already..but..)

If you are a mac user I'd recommend BBEdit. But if you were a mac user you'd use it anyway  :D
