Question about Reg Members
« on: July 10, 2005, 01:26:59 AM »
I run a fansite on a celebrity, and we have exclusive photos. Someone keeps joining with similar usernamers, getting the exclusives then creating fake MySpace accounts.

Is there anyway we can get an ISP# from a member who has already been approaved, or waiting approaval?

Thanks,
Dustin

ISP# ? what is that?
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:

Internet Service Prodiver number. They can be used to ban people from viewing sites. My forum sends the ISP#s of each member when joining in case they start stuff, you can just ban them from accessing the site all together.

@ ASFan

It is not ISP #, It is called IP # which stands for "Internet Proxy Number"
ISP # is something else

If I m understanding it right, U need to restrict access to ur site using IP. Check this great MOD by V@no.. It has everything that U need
