Can someone please explain what "settings" in photoshop needed to add the text?
Font color, smoothness/sharpeness, outline parameters?

Made with Ultimate Paint ... not with Photoshop ... and I think slightly faster and more simplier ... these examples :

and here some blank buttons ...

With the following Ultimat Paint text-settings :
Font :
Verdana , Size 7 , Bold , Outlined 1px , Spacing 15 , Anti-Aliased 0
Font-Color :
Hue 201 , Saturation 255 , Value 111
Red 0 , Green 76 , Blue 117
HTML 004C75
Outlined-Color :
Hue 0 , Saturation 0 , Value 255
Red 255 , Green 255 , Blue 255
HTML FFFFFF

With Photoshop I would have to find out the settings by testing ...

oops...forgot to say thank you, mawenzi. Used the trial version of Ultimate Paint with the settings you've suggested and it worked great!
One lithe thing though, it produces outline without antialias, meaning it does not smooth the edges as on the original buttons, but its not really visible untill you zoom it, not a big deal.

... it is a little bit more sharper ...

... but who zooms (more than 5 times enlargement) the buttons on a website ...

PS: Dann wird es demnächst auch ein schönes neues Template in mehreren Farbvaritionen geben..
