Display categories on the Side Panel

Hi,

Is there a way I can actually display the categories on the Side Panel, instead of the middle of the page??
So they would only look like regular links to other pages.

You mean index category or category with thumbnail (categories.php) ?

At the moment i works also on a mod for this kind of menue.
Only one problem with subcats in subcats:

- maincat            => ok
- maincat            => ok
 -- subcat            => ok
 -- subcat            => ok
   --- subsubcat    => 
 -- subcat            => ok
- maincat             => ok
