Installation Errors

I got this error msg when I first run:
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Failed opening '/home/gallery/public_html/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0

Please help.

Change open_basedir in your php.ini. If you don't have access to the php.ini, you are not able to use 4images with this configuration, sorry.

Hi!

Ich bekomme folgende Fehlermeldung, die ich aber leider nicht beseitigt kriege.
Dann noch die Frage, wo der Unterschied zwischen DB-Host und DB-Name ist!

So, hier nun die Fehlermeldung, ich hab schon alles versucht.

Ich habe vom Anbieter die Bestätigung per Mail, dass die Datenbank eingerichtet ist.

Du hast wahrscheinlich host und db-name vertauscht.

Keine Ahnung, ich hab bei beiden dasselbe genommen.
Mein Webspace Anbieter hat mir folgene Daten für die Datenbank zukommen lassen:

Account: nac4****
Pass: *****
DataBase: DB_nac4****

Genügt das denn für eine erfolgreiche Einrichtung und installation???

DataBase: DB_nac4**** ist db_name

Pass: ***** ist das PAsswort

Account: nac4****  ist db_user

Meiner Meinung fehlt da noch der db_host

Frag mal Deinen Provider

Probiere es mal mit "localhost".

Tja, funzt alles leider irgendwie nicht.
Kann man irgendwie noch anders testen ob PHP und MySQL funktionieren?
Ich habs ja bisher nur mit der 4images Installation probiert.

Dann frag doch einfach Deinen Provider nach dem Host.

I think I might have a problem similar to the one posted in German.  But, I don't know much German, so I do not know if it is the same or not.

I seem to get this error randomly.  (It has even happened in the top frame of the control panel.)

Here is my specific error:

Warning: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'www.senpai.net' (2) in /home/aslater/public_html/gallery/4images/includes/ db_mysql.php on line 39

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'www.senpai.net' (2) in /home/aslater/public_html/ gallery/4images/includes/db_mysql.php on line 39

DB Error: Could not connect to the database server (www.senpai.net, aslater).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats the wrong database host. Ask your host about the right one.
