Discussion & Troubleshooting / 1.7.10 moved to new server. Path messed up. <? print $tu ?>

Moved to a new server with PHP 5.5.9.

Everything loads ok except template images and button texts.

Anyone have an idea? Probably something i did wrong but i have ran out of ideas after searching this forum and troubleshooting..

Se attached image where paths are wrong.

Edit: Seems it lies within my ancient template that has been moved from upgrade to upgrade since 200x something. Doing a fresh install 1.7.11 install looks ok, and when i move the template over i get the same issue when switching template.

Still, if someone can, from my screenshot tell what the issue could be i would appriciate it. I really dont want to re-do the template from scratch.

Hi V@no!

First, many thanks for this mod/utility!

Im running 1.7.10 with 4.15.7 of your mod installed. Tried it in Chrome and IE9

I am trying to modify the text area size when doing a quick edit. Today its 30 chars wide and 4 rows high.

I found $cols and $rows sets the text area size and are defined in the beginning of the images.php file.

But i can not get it to work if i change the size with $cols and $rows. They still come up 30 by 4 rows.

Am i doing something wrong? Probably!

Yes there are some other things running to but nothing that a normal visitor are accessing i think.

I have been digging in the logs and the intruder left some things to look into i think. On a quick check of the logs he has done a lot of testing before getting the file arab.php in the tmp_media directory. I will not go in to details in public.

Hi!

Got a mail from Paypal stating that my site where hosting a fake Paypal page for an hour back. Found a bunch of php files under the 4images directory "data".

Just want to warn anybody since my installation was fresh from Jan 14.

Note! Im not saying it is actually 4images that are to blame but since the files was found under the data directory there could be a hole somewhere.

Digging in the logs to find more.

Hi!

Is it possible to get a brief description of this mod in english? I asked about a mod that gives a group permissions to a view a single image. V@no showed me this mod but its a bit unclear if the settings applies to a group.

Can you give a group permissions to view a single image and it is hidden for everyone else?

Ok. I looked at that one, but from what i could get it was not for a group of users. It says "Alle", "Registrierte User", "Privat", oder nur "Administratoren".

But my german is limited so perhaps you can get it to work for a group of users also?

Hi!
I would like to have certain images in my gallery that only are visible if the user are member of a specific user group. I can see that its possible to do this to a category but i would like it on a single image. Im almost sure there are a mod like this but i can not find it. Im running 1.7.4 but I plan to upgrade to 1.7.7 before adding this mod.

First of all, nice to see you back here V@no!

Second, works great with 1.7.4 (with the addition to yesme:s post)

Third, how difficult would it be to add the image name as a variable in the validation_email_bit.html? I can see that $image_name variable are used in validateimages.php at least.

You can tell Google to not index sessionid in your robots.txt

For us who have added this mod http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=17598.0 to create Googlefriendly URL:s, is it possible to display the page URL as in the mod <a href="http://www.site.net/img-imagename-12345.htm> instead of <a href="http://www.site.net/details.php?image_id=12345">

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Increasing load time of control panel. 50 secs, 5300 images 1100 categories

Hi!

I have in two years gone from 0 to over 5300 images in 4images. Everything works really well but loading of the control panel is taking longer and longer and has now come to  where its just irritating. Right now it takes around 50 seconds to load. And it is increasing with the amount of images.

I remember reading here somewhere here that it has to do with the stats section in the controlpanel but i cant find the thread. If disabling the stats would solve this, no problem!

Anyone?

1. http://www.4homepages.de/forum is a DE-Domain ...
2. and the first topic by kai is in german / english ...
3. and some of the most active users speak german ... (they are not all from germany ...) ...
4. and there was a time where some of the most active users are speaking english ...
5. and english speaking users can also learn to use Google Language Tool ...
6. and if english and german feedback are in different threads and you have a interest by a german topic ... what you are doing than ... ?
7. and right ... you use Google Language Tool ...
8. and so it is the same thing ... english and german feedback in different threads or in the same thread ...

I can understand if a thread is either in english or german, no problem. But how in the name of god can you allow a thread to change language in the middle of it? For example, i see a thread that is spot on a problem i have and it is in english. The discussion starts and 10 posts down it changes to german. I can see that the problem is solved but i can not read it!!! User friendly??? For germans perhaps. For everyone else, definitely not.

A question... 49 of the 60 newest threads in "Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions)" start in english. Why do they do that?

A translate tool... not even commenting that...

Why have both english and german feedback in the same thread??? I can see that there are discussions about topics that i have a interest in but i can not read them!!! (This is perhaps more of a general forum issue that i have not seen anywhere else on the internet. English and german in the same threads)
