Moved to a new server with PHP 5.5.9.

Everything loads ok except template images and button texts.

Anyone have an idea? Probably something i did wrong but i have ran out of ideas after searching this forum and troubleshooting..

Se attached image where paths are wrong.

Edit: Seems it lies within my ancient template that has been moved from upgrade to upgrade since 200x something. Doing a fresh install 1.7.11 install looks ok, and when i move the template over i get the same issue when switching template.

Still, if someone can, from my screenshot tell what the issue could be i would appriciate it. I really dont want to re-do the template from scratch.

Hi!

Got a mail from Paypal stating that my site where hosting a fake Paypal page for an hour back. Found a bunch of php files under the 4images directory "data".

Just want to warn anybody since my installation was fresh from Jan 14.

Note! Im not saying it is actually 4images that are to blame but since the files was found under the data directory there could be a hole somewhere.

Digging in the logs to find more.

Hi!
I would like to have certain images in my gallery that only are visible if the user are member of a specific user group. I can see that its possible to do this to a category but i would like it on a single image. Im almost sure there are a mod like this but i can not find it. Im running 1.7.4 but I plan to upgrade to 1.7.7 before adding this mod.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Increasing load time of control panel. 50 secs, 5300 images 1100 categories

Hi!

I have in two years gone from 0 to over 5300 images in 4images. Everything works really well but loading of the control panel is taking longer and longer and has now come to  where its just irritating. Right now it takes around 50 seconds to load. And it is increasing with the amount of images.

I remember reading here somewhere here that it has to do with the stats section in the controlpanel but i cant find the thread. If disabling the stats would solve this, no problem!

Anyone?

Hi!

Im looking for a mod that sends a email notification to admin when a comment is posted? I have searched but not found anything. There seems to be several similar where email or PM to owner of image is sent. Perhaps just a modifiaction to a existing one can be done? I run 1.7.4

I stubled upon an article about the robots.txt file accepting wildcards (or more exact the bots that read robots.txt) I haveŽnt seen any forumpost so...

To keep bots from indexing urls containing sessionind i have added the following to my robots.txt

User-Agent: *
Allow: /
Disallow: /*?sessionid=

I have tested this against the Google bot via Google sitemaps and it is OK by the tool used.

I am no expert on this and i have just implemented it so the impact on indexing is a bit unclear but for me worth a try...

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Subtract amount in category from lang_site_stats "xx images in xx categories"

Hi!

I have made copies of some images from one category to another. The images has several features and i wanted to highlight them by putting them in a special category that is named after a feature rather than image name/type.

BUT! When i have copied, lets say 100 pics to another category the "xx images in xx categories" is no longer correct since the copied images are counted twice. How can i either subtract contents of a category or not count contents in a specific category?

Is it possible to have two sites use the same pics/database? I have a site in swedish with a swedish domain name, but i would like to register a english domain and have a different layout but use the same pics as in the swedish site. Is it doable? (I have searched but not found any topic about this)

Hi!

I have installed way to many mods to be able to uppgrade to 1.7.2 but i would like the "- Subcategories in Control Panel categories overview can be expanded/collapsed" function in my ACP. Is it available as a standalone MOD?

I have searched and found nothing that really matched.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Automatic dump of database for backup?

Hi!

I am wondering how to create the backup file of the database automatically? My hosting company lets me use cron so i have created a job that once every day zips the whole site and i download it via FTP to my machine at home with Cobian backup. BUT, i have to manually go in to the ACP and create a database backup to get the database in the site backup file.

Can the creation of the .sql file be done via cron? Modifying backup.php so that i can run backup.php as a cronjob? Perhaps there are other tools to use for this task? This is my first time with Mysql and PHP...


I have searched the forum but not found anything (in english anyway)

Any input welcome!

Hi!

Im a beginner at 4images but have managed to get a site running and done some minor modifications without much knowledge to php and html.

One thing i dont get to work is how to display the parent category in thumbnails.

Se my attached images, how can i get the all parent categories in the top frame to show in thumbnails?
