How to change the look of subcategories on home page?

Hello,

I have a little question about how to change the way subcategories are listed on the home page.

As it's now, it looks like this:

Main Category
Sub cat 1, Sub cat 2, Sub cat 3

But I would want it to look like this instead:

Main Category
Sub cat 1
Sub cat 2
Sub cat 3

I want each subcategory to be listed on its own line.

How could I change this? Thank you!

A static icon : http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=3589.0
A thumbnail from that category, set by admin in ACP : http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6922.0
