Ok, to customize the looks of 4images, you go into the templates directory and you edit all of the templates files to your liking correct, for instance I can go to footer and add in an advertisement. Ok now if I'm correct can you send me a list of all the variables so I understand them so I can edit the templates easier since I would actually understand them and if possible can you send me a list defining the all of the templates, for Ex. Footer contains the 4images copyright and is located at the bottom of each page.

in templates you will see a lot of {   } Tags, just use the same in your new templates...

YES, I finally get it, only one question left, I don't know what some of those variables in between the braces mean. One more thing what does this mean "; echo"

well, to explain every tag in every template would be taken many hours.

example:
home.html
{url_search} = http://yourdomain/search.php
{lang_top_images} = translation of /lang/LANGUAGE/main.php entry > $lang['top_images'] = "Top images";

and so on..

just use the same tags in your templates....
