SAFE MODE???! HELP!

IM GETTING THIS MESSAGE WHEN I CLICK THE UPLOAD BUTTON

Upload your images via FTP to the categories folders and add them with "Check new images".

Isn't the hole point to be able to upload without FTP acess??? Cause this way I wont need to give out the pass to anybody.

If you want your users to upload images, you have to ask your host to disable safe_mode. Another way is to try to remove all categories folders and re-create them via ftp (chmod 777):

I cant just chmod them all? to 777 i have to recreate them! umm,

I just transfered my galler to a new host, wut a pain in the butt....but now I am having the same problem u are :(
