Error Adding Images

Hello,
I'm using 4images in my site and I encounter a problem when I' trying to validate images in one of my categories.
The message I get is "Error adding image".
I 'm trying to do it manually from the Add images section and the error message is
"Error uploading image file: 2.jpg
2.jpg: Copy error. Please check the directory permissions.
No database entry!"

Any ideas?
